Who I Am

My name is Yona, and I’m an IT Technician currently pursuing a BTS Cloud Computing degree in Luxembourg. With a strong foundation in cloud technologies and infrastructure, I combine technical expertise with practical experience in building and maintaining complex systems.

My Background Story

When I was 3 years I old, I already showed intersts in computers. This was the time I received an old laptop as a gift, and I was fascinated by it! I spent hours exploring and I broke it in the end. In the next years I started thinking of learning how to repair it. That has led me to a rabbit hole. I started learning about computers, how they work, and how to fix them. By age 10, I built my first desktop PC. It was meant to be a server that ran linux, but that was when I hit a roadblock. I couldn’t manage to host a website on the world wide web. What I failed to realise was that that the ISP was sharing my IP address with other customers. For the mean time I used it as my main machine, but as soon as I learned about IP addresses and how they work, I started to understand the problem. That’s when I started to get back to web and game server (Minecraft, GMOD) hosting. The interest and curiosity never stopped and as soon as I saw an opportunity to study information technology, I jumped at it.
